PRINCE THIEF

“Lovely characterisation, awesome dialogue and an overall solid fantasy read.”

Giant Thief, Crown Thief, and now Prince Thief? I see a pattern here.

Yes you do. Prince Thief is the third and final book in my Tales of Easie Damasco series of adventure-fantasy novels.

So not a good place to join the series then?

Possibly not; Giant Thief or Crown Thief would be a far better point to hop aboard.

Fortunately, I already read and enjoyed both of those! Why don't you tell me why I'd want to read this one too?

What, seriously? You got to the end of Crown Thief and didn't want to know what happened next?

Okay then, here's the blurb:

Altapasaeda, capital of the Castoval, is under siege by its own King - and Easie Damasco is trapped within the city's besieged walls. Only Mounteban has a solution to offer. Far to the north, rebels have set a bastard prince up as a figurehead. If our heroes could kidnap this warlord-in-the-making, he might be used as a bargaining chip to end the war on both fronts. Yet again, Damasco finds himself roped into a desperate scheme to preserve the Castoval, and events only grow more complicated as Damasco discovers that he and the disgruntled, rebellious teenage Prince have more in common than either of them would like to admit.

I like the sound of this prince character, anyone who gives Easie Damasco a hard time is all right by me.

Also, there's an exploding ship!

An exploding ship?

Well, more of a crashing, burning ship. But trust me, it's an exciting scene.

Okay, I'm sold. But did you say "third and final" up there? Is this really the last we'll see of Damasco?

Indeed it is. This is the end of the story that I wanted to tell when I finished Giant Thief, and it leaves Easie - and the rest of his cast - in the place that I intended. I'll miss this world and these characters, but it's time for us all to move onto pastures new.

That's sad.

A little. Would it help if I told you where you could buy Prince Thief from?

It couldn't hurt.
